NEW: Boerboel dogs fatally maul six-year-old

A six-year-old girl died after she was viciously attacked by two Boerboel dogs while playing with other children in Goromonzi on Thursday.

Police confirmed the incident and said the dog’s owner, Justice Nyamutsamba (40), is being charged with culpable homicide.

The dogs have since been shot dead.

“The Zimbabwe Republic Police reports a sad incident in which a six-year-old girl was mauled to death by two vicious Boer dogs whilst playing with friends at Dongo Village, Goromonzi.

“The police have since shot dead the dogs and the owner Justice Nyamutsamba (40) is being charged with culpable homicide,” police said.
