NEW: Boka Tobacco Floors to open Monday

BOKA Tobacco Floors (BTF), one of the country’s biggest tobacco auction floors, will on conduct its first sale of the 2022 tobacco selling season on Monday April 4.

The 2022 tobacco selling season was officially opened on March 31.

While the first sales of the season were conducted at Tobacco Sales Floor (TSF) and Premier Tobacco Floors (PTF) on Thursday, Boka Tobacco Floors will be opened on Monday as the road that is adjacent to its premises is currently under construction.

BTF chief operating officer Mr Takunda Tazvida said they were ready to reopen.

“Although this delay is a setback, it is also a blessing in disguise for us since the road construction will benefit us immensely. 

“As for the new selling season, we are ready for it and come Monday, we will be serving our loyal customers,” he said.
