NEW: Brace for more rains, says Met Dept

Online Reporter

THE Meteorological Services Department (MSD) says significant rainfall is expected across the country in the coming week, with the central and eastern areas to receive more precipitation than other areas.

“Significant rainfall precipitation amounts are expected in the country during the forecast period (November 26 to December 4).

“Much of the precipitation is expected especially across the central and eastern parts of the country,” said the MSD in its latest Bulletin.

The wet season began in earnest last week, and many farmers have started planting their summer crops, especially those taking part in the Climate-Proofed Presidential Inputs Scheme (Pfumvudza).
