AFTER over two decades of inactivity, the iconic Brondesbury Park Hotel Nyanga finally re-opened its doors in September.
The newly refurbished hotel overlooks the grand Nyanga mountain range.
Recently, while on a pre-Sanganai Travel Expo exhibition tour, a delegation consisting of representatives from the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) and foreign travel agents visited the hotel, which is currently managed by Red Apple Hotels.
Boasting 38 rooms, among them a lavish honeymoon suite and conference facilities, the hotel is set on 22 hectares of picturesque Nyanga views.
Ms Nyasha Makanza, the hotel’s general manager, said the re-opening of the hotel is a sign that local tourism is on the rebound.
“The re-opening of the Brondesbury Park Hotel is a clear sign that the local tourism industry has rebounded.
“We are excited to be part of the rejuvenation of the hospitality industry,” Ms Makanza said.
