BUDDING rhythm and blues singer Ngonidzashe Tatenda Moreni, popularly known as ‘Mr Moreni’, has released a new video for the track ‘Ndapera’, which features hip hop sensation, Shonaboi.
The video was directed by Lyteezw and has since garnered over 13 000 views over the past four days.
The main character of the audiovisual is a man making advances on a woman who is far beyond his social class.
“This is a Afro-pop love track of a guy who is asking a girl on a date despite knowing how the girl is way above his class as a result of the girl’s upbringing.”
In an interview with The Sunday Mail Online, the budding artist said working with Shonaboi for the first time was an exciting and crazy experience.
‘He is such a talented individual and he brought flavour by merging our vocals and his bars on the same track. I look forward to creating more music with him.”
The track is available on all digital streaming platforms including Spotify, iTunes and Audiomac.
