NEW: Buhera accident victims named

POLICE have named the six people who died in a fatal road traffic accident that occurred along the Mugombe-Betera Road in Buhera on Saturday morning.

The victims were positively identified by their next of kin.

In a statement this evening, national police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said: “The victims have been identified as: Danford Mugombe (53), Veronica Mugombe (69), Tinotenda Chinyanganya all of Mugombe Village, Forward Mandishona (39) of Vengesai Village, Banabas Edson of Mangezi Village and Netsai Mukute of Mukute Village.”

Police implored motorist to be always cautious and adhere to the rules and regulations that govern road usage.
