ZANU PF Chipinge South primary elections rivals, Cdes Enock Porusingazi and Robert Nyemudzo have smoked the peace pipe and are working together to ensure a resounding victory for the ruling party.
The unity of purpose was witnessed yesterday when the Chipinge District political leadership under the direction of ZANU PF treasure general, Cde Patrick Chinamasa and provincial chairman, Cde Tawanda Mukodza descended on wards 27 and 28 of Chipinge South constituency where they were hosted by Cdes Porusingazi and Nyemudzo.
Hordes of jovial ZANU PF cadres attended the two ward meetings to witness the fruits of unity, order and discipline that form the cornerstones of the ZANU PF political edifice in Chipinge South constituency.

The ruling party’s provincial spokesperson, Cde Sam Matema said: “The challenges that characterised the ascension of Cde Porusingazi to the ZANU PF candidature notwithstanding, Cde Nyemudzo did show political maturity and magnanimity by collapsing on the altar of humility and sacrifice for the good of Chipinge South constituency in lending all support to Cde Porusingazi.
“This puts paid to the prophets of doom in the rank and file of the opposition establishment who wished an atomic fallout between the ZANU PF comrades. Now that all the comrades in Chipinge South have smoked the political peace pipe, are singing from the same hymn sheet and reading the same political script, it admits of no debate that victory is but cast in stone and inevitable for the revolutionary party ZANU PF. Nyika inovakwa nevene vayo!”
