NEW: Development practitioner, Tenax psychologist dies

ZIMBABWE Prisons and Correctional Services outfit, Tenax psychologist and development practitioner and consultant, Jephias Mundondo has died.

Although burial arrangements were still being deliberated on, his daughter, Tatenda Mundondo, confirmed that the late Mundondo died during the wee hours of Monday morning and will be buried at his rural Gutu home in Masvingo Province.

Tenax chairman, Stefani Masina said Mundondo, who served the ZPCS club for more than a decade, will be greatly missed.

“We are deeply saddened by the untimely demise of Jephias Mundondo, our team psychologist. He is one person who loved football unconditionally.

“As Tenax, we will greatly miss him. This has been a big blow to us as a family as well as the greater Mutare football family,” said Masina.

Mundondo at one time served as a columnist for The Manica Post.
