PEOPLE with disabilities (PWDs) are set to receive an early Christmas cheer on Friday, as local non-governmental organisation, Simudziranayi Community Trust (SCT), hosts an interactive party.

In an interview with The Sunday Mail Online, SCT director Mrs Zanzile Mantiziba said the organisation is proud to put a smile on the faces of the underprivileged.

“We are delighted to be hosting a Christmas party for mentally and physically challenged children in Epworth on Unity Day. These children include those who suffer from down syndrome, autism, and other disabilities,” she said.

“We are taking care of about 70 children who suffer from different conditions.

“We also support parents of such children according to their different needs, which brings the number of people that we are assisting to about 200.”
