NEW: Fireworks expected at Baobab . . . as Benjani’s Ngezi host DeMbare

Online Reporter

A potentially explosive match-up is on the cards when Benjani Mwaruwari’s Ngezi Platinum Stars host red-hot Dynamos FC at Baobab Stadium on Saturday.

The clash, which could give newly-appointed Mwaruwari a litmus test, is the major highlight of Match Day 11.

It is also the pick of Match Day 11 fixtures that kick off on Friday when Harare City host Tenax at the National Sports Stadium.

Log leaders Chicken Inn travel to Gweru where they play Whawha at Ascot on Saturday.

The Gamecocks were held 3-3 by Manica Diamonds in a pulsating encounter at Luveve Stadium on Saturday.

They plan to bounce back to winning ways.

Chicken Inn saw their lead at the top cut to just a point by Harare giants Dynamos, who edged Black Rhinos 2-1 at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The Gamecocks now lead the table with 23 points going into Round 11 of the 2021/2022 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.

Highlanders also have a chance to move up the standings when they host Cranborne Bullets at Barbourfields Stadium, where they have been doing well of late.

Bosso drew 0-0 in Triangle on Sunday and are now unbeaten in four matches.

It is no longer the same case with CAPS United, who were shocked by Tenax at Sakubva over the weekend.

William Manondo scored his ninth of the season, but Tenax recovered to win it 2-1.
