NEW: Fuel prices adjusted downwards

FUEL prices have dropped slightly, following a downward review of diesel and petrol costs by the Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA).

In a statement, ZERA said diesel now costs US$1, 86 per litre from US$1, 88, while petrol was reviewed downwards to US$1, 76 per litre, from US$1, 77.

The local currency prices are $714,91 per litre for diesel, and $677,32 per litre for petrol.

“The public and operators are advised that the blending ratio remains at E15,” reads part of the statement.

The last increase was on June 25 2022.

ZERA kept US dollar prices unchanged on its previous review on July 5.
