Government has committed to rehabilitating more traffic circles in Harare, as part of broader initiatives to enhance road infrastructure.

Work on the Mbudzi Interchange is expected to commence soon.

Transport and Infrastructure Development Minister Felix Mhona on Wednesday told legislators in Parliament’s National Assembly that Government will not focus on the Mbudzi roundabout alone.

“We are not going to dwell on Mbudzi Interchange alone, as we decongest the city and allow connectivity on our roads.

“As we work on the Mbudzi roundabout and other diversions, we are going to address all anomalies (causing congestion) so that we allow ease of traffic on our roads.”
