REHABILITATION work on the Harare-Bindura highway began on Wednesday, as Government continues to make progress in improving the state of the country’s road network.

In a statement, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development said:

“Please be advised that from Wednesday 20 April, there will be road construction works commencing on the Harare–Bindura road (in various sections from Harare all the way to Bindura). This project will be ongoing for the next six months.

We therefore request motoring public who make use of this road to adhere to the following: Reduce speed when approaching construction zones and adhere to the traffic control signage posted along the sections of the road being worked on.”

Government also implored drivers to exercise caution, be patient and follow instructions or signs from traffic controllers stationed at construction zones.
