NEW: Harare City Council gets new boss

Online Reporter

HARARE CITY COUNCIL has appointed Jabulani Duve as acting human capital director, replacing Bosman Matengarufu, who stepped down citing a toxic work environment.

Mr Matengarufu has returned to his previous role as head of human capital administration.

The position has been fraught with instability since the 2017 suspension of the late substantive director, Dr Cainos Chingombe, who was briefly reinstated in 2022 before passing away last year after a long battle with cancer.
