NEW: Harare records 23 cholera cases on Monday

Harare recorded 23 new cholera cases on Monday, bringing the province’s total to 1 494.

According to the Ministry of Health and Child Care, cumulative cases have risen to 3 610 cases countrywide.

“Zimbabwe has so far recorded 3 610 cases, with 3 519 recoveries and 19 deaths.”

The highest number of cholera cases have been reported in Harare province with 1 494 cases and Manicaland Province with 1 451 cases.

Confirmed deaths have been recorded in Manicaland (12), Mashonaland Central (two), Mashonaland West (one), Masvingo (one) and Harare (three).

Cases have since been reported in all the country’s provinces.
