A 30-year-old Budiriro woman brought her boyfriend to court alleging that he assaulted her in front of her children.
Ms Prudence Sosi made the allegations at the Harare Civil Court on Friday.
She told the court that her boyfriend Mr Paskal Tumbare (47) assaulted her in front of her children on September 3, 2024 over misinformation.
In response, Mr Tumbare did not deny the allegations, but argued that his girlfriend was having an adulterous relationship with another man.
Presiding magistrate, Ms Meenal Narotam ordered the two to live in peace. She also ordered Mr Tumbare not to assault or threaten Ms Sosi.
