POLICE in Midlands province are investigating a case of double homicide after two bodies with stab wounds were found at the business centre on Saturday.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) said the victims were last seen having a fierce fight, which forced all shops and bars at the growth point to be closed.

“The ZRP is investigating circumstances surrounding two murder cases which occurred at Dombwe Business Centre in Shurugwi, where the bodies of two male adults, Gilbert Dendere (40) and Tapfumanei Muza (30), were found lying at the business centre on November 27, 2022 with stab wounds,” said the police.

Meanwhile, police say they have arrested one of the victim’s brothers, Farai Muza (27), Kundai Chivite (23), Tobias Gweru (22) and Bradley Musindo (22) for trying to attack a bar lady with Columbian knives at the same business centre after they accused her of being involved in the murder of Tapfumanei Muza.
