CONSTRUCTION of the Mabvuku Interchange is progressing well, with the contractor having finished installing all the beams.
The project, situated along the Harare–Mutare Highway, is set to be completed by year-end.
The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development confirmed the development on Wednesday.
“The beams are in place, and the Mabvuku Interchange is beginning to look more and more like the 3D vision. From render to reality — beam by beam.”
The project is designed to ease congestion and improve safety on one of Zimbabwe’s key traffic corridors.
It is part of a nationwide initiative to ease congestion, reduce road carnage and modernise transport systems in line with the country’s Vision 2030.
