DYNAMOS have a spring in their step after welcoming back vice-captain Emmanuel Jalai and goalkeeper Martin Mapisa ahead of their Chibuku Super Cup quarter-final showdown against Yadah at Rufaro this afternoon.
The pair was in South Africa with the Warriors where they were unused substitutes during the back-to-back 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Namibia on Thursday last week and on Monday night.
Their availability has boosted the Glamour Boys, who are seeking to defend the Chibuku Super Cup which they won last year.
Dynamos are out of the running for the premiership title and their only hope of winning silverware hinges on their performance in the biggest knock-out tournament in the country.
Winning this competition will also guarantee them another chance to represent the country in the CAF Confederation Cup as they did this season.
Dynamos have been relying on a depleted team in the past two league matches due to different circumstances, and as they also missed their best player this season, Jalai.
His availability will give them the motivation they have been lacking going into this rescheduled clash at Rufaro.
Winners of the tie will meet last season’s finalists Ngezi Platinum Stars in the semi-finals.
