New joint off to good start

Newly-opened joint, Airport Lounge at Queensway Shopping Centre along Airport Road got off to a good start with a hive of activity last weekend. The joint, which opened its doors last Friday, had a busy weekend as merrymakers came to sample the new place. Pole dancer, Zoey and her Red Angels performed at the opening night and thrilled revellers with their seductive act. The spacious place is probably the biggest club in Harare. Revellers that used to fill Private Lounge to the bream now have a big place in which to have fun with pole dancers and some raunchy dance groups. Pole dancers, Zoey and Bev that have brought a new style to nightlife are likely to take turns to entertain patrons at the new club. The club’s spokesperson said they will ensure they have exclusive entertainment package and will strive to maintain decency.

“This is going to be a different place from many others in Harare because we are bringing a different concept,” he said.

“We will have pole dancers that would present raunchy and seductive acts, but we will ensure that the performances remain decent. The dancers know where there are supposed to end in terms of revealing their bodies and their dance styles and they will have to work within the provisions of policies that govern their art.

“However, this place will have exclusive act and will definitely change Harare’s nightlife.”
