titled Isiphiwo which is set to take the local music industry by storm.
Ndlovu, who is based in South Africa, hails from the Mathe area of Tsholotsho in Matabeleland North Province.
All tracks on the album were written by Ndlovu and teach about how to overcome life’s trials.
Isiphiwo was recorded in South Africa and is set to compete with popular Ndolwane Super Sounds, Mokis Connection and Tukuye Super Sounds.
In an interview yesterday, 20-year-old Ndlovu said title of the album was a tribute to God who gave him the gift to sing.
He encouraged local artistes to use their talents as a vehicle to give constructive advice.
“I was given this talent to sing by God so I have to share my gift with people. My songs talk about life and its trials and advice people how to deal with its pressures,” said Ndlovu.
He said he compiled the album last year in South Africa and recorded the album at Africa Super Sounds in Johannesburg.
“Compiling the album took me a year and I finished doing so in August. I then went to record the album at the studio in South Africa. We finished all mastering in February. The road has been long but worth it,’ said Ndlovu.
He said over the Easter holiday he performed in his home area and the reception he got was positive.
“I performed at koNkunzi, koMathe and koMbamba area in Tsholotsho and I got a positive response. I want to come back and perform in the same areas soon,” said Ndlovu.
Trust Moyo produced the album with all tracks written by Ndlovu.
Tracks such as Mide Iminyaka is about the years people spend in South Africa without achieving anything and forgetting to support their parents back home.
Ndlovu thanked his family, friends, for supporting him when he embarked on his musical career.
