NEW: Liberation War Hero status for the late Bwanya

THE late ZIFA life member and veteran football administrator, Cornelius Bwanya, has been declared a Liberation War Hero.
Bwanya, who was the father of former CAPS United chairman, Shepherd, died on Saturday morning at West End Hospital.
Mourners are gathered at Number 19, Howman Road, Mbare National.
The late Bwanya’s nephew, Makomborero Mutimukulu, confirmed that the respected administrator had been accorded Liberation War Hero status.

Burial arrangements are still in progress.
