THE country will experience increased load-shedding between September 12 and September 16 due to depressed electricity generation on the grid, the Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) has announced.

In a notice to the public, ZETDC said their engineers are working round the clock to ensure full restoration of services.

The power utility advised customers to use electricity sparingly during this period.

“Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company would like to advise its valued customers countrywide that there will be increased load curtailment from September 12 to September 16.

“This is due to depressed generation on the grid coupled with increased electricity demand as a a result of increased economic demand,” read the notice.
