NEW: Malaria kills 220 since January

TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY people have succumbed to malaria in Zimbabwe since the beginning of the year, latest statistics from the Ministry of Health and Child Care show.

A total of 140 889 cumulative cases were recorded during the eight-month period.

In 2022, the country’s malaria cases and deaths were 140 170 and 178, respectively.
