AWARD-WINNING music stable Chillspot Records will celebrate 11 years in existence by hosting a musical show at the City Sports Centre in Harare on Saturday.
Some of the big names expected to perform at the gig are Godfather Templeman, DJ Fantan, Etherton B, DJ Fydale, Enzo Ishall, Ndunge Yut, Ras Caleb, Silent Killer, Blot and Seh Calaz.
Music promoter Patson “Chipaz” Chimboza is bankrolling the event.
“We are ready to host this eagerly anticipated concert. The artistes are raring to go; this show is going to be a memorable one,” he said.
DJ Fantan said Chillspot will use the show to scout for new talent.
“Chillspot has an impressive record when it comes to identifying new talent. We are going to unleash new talent during the show.”
Housed at Matapi Flats in Mbare, Chillspot was formed in 2012 by Arnold “DJ Fantan” Kamudyariwa, Rodger “DJ Levels” Kadzimwe and Tafadzwa “DJ Rhibhe” Mandaza.
Since its inception, the stable has nurtured several Zimdancehall stars, among them Killer T, Enzo Ishall, Silent Killer, Seh Calaz and Blot.
