MAMBO’S Chicken on Wednesday celebrated their sixth birthday at an event in Harare.

The fast food company hosted children from Gunhill Nursery and Junior School.

The eatery’s account executive Mr Isheunesu Tsiga said they coined the term “Mambo’s Chicken Vanniversary Celebrations” as their anniversary fell on Valentine’s Day.

“Every February 14, we celebrate Valentine’s Day and our anniversary,” he said.

“We would like our clients to come and enjoy our anniversary menus and discounts which will be available from today up to the 28th of this month.”

As part of their celebrations, Mambo’s Chicken honoured different stakeholders with awards.

On Saturday, they will feature on Star FM and popular singer Mwenje Mathole is expected to be part of proceedings later in the day.

Mr Tsiga said this “Vanniversary” was special as their company was planning to expand operations.

“Our theme for this year is ‘Scale Up’, so we are not just celebrating our growth but also committing to an ambitious expansion plan,” he said.
