NEW: Mandava to host Castle Challenge Cup

THE Castle Challenge Cup match between FC Platinum and Bulawayo Chiefs will be played at Mandava Stadium on March 11.

The Challenge Cup was introduced in 2017.

It features winners of the Premier Soccer League (PSL) and the Chibuku Super Cup.

FC Platinum won their fourth straight league title in November last year, while Bulawayo Chiefs clinched their maiden Chibuku Super Cup after edging Herentals 1-0 in a final played at Barbourfields Stadium.

The Castle Challenge Cup acts as the season opener, with the PSL expected to commence a week after later.
