NEW: Mandenge bounces back

Cyprian Mandenge has bounced back into the Zimbabwe rugby structures and will be in charge of the country’s national women’s national team.

The appointment was announced on Friday by the Zimbabwe Rugby Union (ZRU).

“The Zimbabwe Rugby Union would like to announce the appointment of Cyprian Mandenge as the Zimbabwe National Women’s Sevens head coach,” read a ZRU post on Facebook.

“Cyprian (Mandenge) comes with a wealth of experience as a rugby coach and administrator having coached national age groups, the Zimbabwe A team, and the senior men’s team (the Sables).”
