EIGHT fighters from Manicaland will be in the ring tonight at the potentially explosive Shihan Samson Muripo Regional So Kyokushin Karate tournament at the Aquatic Complex in Chitungwiza.
In the men’s open weight category, the province will field Kudakwashe Chiandire while the middle weight category will have Liberty Zindi representing Manicaland.
In the high school boys’ category, Manicaland will have Deliverance Revai and Herbert Chidiriro while Tafadzwa Dzinamarira, Lorrence Uta, Talent Njekete, Noah Mabota, Allen Zinyenga and Trevor Muchisi will be in the lightweight category.
Sensei Allen Makufeni is part of the delegation in Chitungwiza as a judge while Luckmore Ganya is the team manager.
The annual Shihan Samson Muripo Regional So Kyokushin Karate tournament draws participants from neighboring countries in the SADC region.
