NEW: Manicaland records 19 new cholera cases

Nineteen new suspected cholera cases were recorded in Manicaland yesterday, bringing the provincial total to 151.

 

According to yesterday’s Zimbabwe Situation Report on Cholera released by the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MOHCC), 14 cases were reported in Chimanimani while five were recorded in Chipinge.

 

Chimanimani and Chipinge districts remain among the country’s cholera hotspots.

 

To date, one patient is hospitalised in Chimanimani while another is hospitalised in Mutare.

Meanwhile, the province also recorded a total of 18 recoveries yesterday, according to the report.
