The Sithethelelwe “Kwinji 15” Sibanda-coached girls are in Group D alongside Mozambique and Lesotho. They will begin their campaign against the former on Thursday before taking on Lesotho on Sunday.

Only the winners of the group will advance to the semi-finals.

The contingent left Robert Mugabe International Airport at 9 am and is expected to arrive in Gqeberha on Tuesday afternoon.

Every member of the group was in high spirits, with the players expressing optimism that they will return home with the trophy on November 3.
