NEW: Netball league begins preps for new season

The Premier Netball League (PNL) will begin on a high note this year with the 2021 awards and a pre-season tournament pencilled in for February 12 and February 26, respectively.

The inaugural season awards will take place in Harare to honour all teams that participated in the league.

In its opening season, PNL had 21 teams,  with Platinum Queens, Harare City and ZDF finishing off in first, second and third in that order.

“Everything is in place. This will be our inaugural awards event and we look forward to it, so we are very excited,” said the PNL.

“We will be giving prizes to the winners as well honouring all clubs that participated, with our plan being to do so every other year/season.”

The pre-season tournament will take place at a venue to be announced.
