THE new-look suburban nightclub at Max Centre in Palmerstone, Live@Five, has given the low-density area in Mutare a new feel.
The first thing to catch one’s attention is the stylish décor and casual atmosphere which makes it a great spot for a relaxing outing with friends.
Though renovations are still in progress with completion and the official opening expected on Christmas Eve, excitement about the place has already been created in the city.
Spokesperson of the new joint, Simba Bvute, popularly known as Jigger in the social circles, said Live@Five would cater for revellers who enjoy both the indoor club experience and open-air setting.
The club had been in operation for years as a half tavern, but Bvute said they remodelled with focus on attracting up-market revellers.
The modern look which is colourful and eye-catching brings life to the place that had once been run-down and mostly attracted gory drinkers.
“We have remodelled the place to make it attractive and appealing as an up-market hangout. We hope to turn Live@Five into the next home of entertainment in Mutare and intend to officially open on Christmas Eve. However, the place is open for business, while final renovations are being completed,” said Bvute.
He said the upscale feel to the place was meant to move with the times of modern international clubs.
“Mutare is a tourist destination and to have such modern hangout places complements the local tourism industry. We went all out for style and luxury with international standards in mind,” he said.
