Police had gone to the pair’s house while following up on a case of unlawful entry, which had happened last month.

“ZRP Norton Urban arrested Shyleen Hwema (29) and Gibson Baloyi (60) for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of stolen property and selling liquor without a licence at number 3499 Maridale in Norton,” Assistant Commissioner Nyathi said.
“Police acted on a tip and also covered two Acer laptops stolen by means of unlawful entry on 07/02/22 in Maridale, Norton.”
He said further searches at the house led to the recovery of a black plastic bag containing three sachets of Methylenedioxymethamphetamine popularly known as crystal meth, 10×6 packs of 1.25 litres of Chibuku beer, 11x200ml Saints Brandy popularly known as Kambwa or Musvirititi and 25x200ml Black Panther brandy.
