The Bulawayo side won 1-0 on Saturday to secure the much needed maximum points.
Last week they thumped the visitors 5-0 when the Mutare side came to Bulawayo.
Sithethelelwe “Kwinji” Sibanda said the match could have ended with a better score line but her girls missed many chances.
“Many opportunities presented themselves but we missed most of them. We did all we could but it was miss after miss and the players ended up being frustrated,” she said.
Sibanda conceded that they were playing against an improved side.
“Our opponents put up a remarkable performance and I can tell you there are many up-and-coming stars in that club. I personally saw a few girls who have a lot of potential,” Sibanda said.
Meanwhile, Inline Academy managed to revenge the 2-0 defeat by Mufakose Queens when they played a return fixture at Barham Green on Saturday.
The Bulawayo side won with the same margin.
Elsewhere, Black Rhinos consolidated their lead on the log standings when they again punished Masvingo Queens 13-0 after they gave them a 12-0 hit last weekend.
Chipembere Queens succumbed to a 0-3 defeat against Cyclone Stars while Conduit Soccer Academy beat Flame Lily 3-1 in Super league matches played on Saturday.
