NEW: Palestine condemns Israeli killings

Online Reporter

Palestine has condemned the killing of five Palestinians by Israeli forces on Monday evening, saying the escalating aggression is uncalled for.

In a statement on Wednesday, Palestine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates urged Israel to stop their increasingly intensified targeted killings.

The ministry said Palestinian people will continue to guard their sovereignty jealously.

“Israel’s crimes demonstrate a long-standing and declared policy of brutally entrenching its illegal colonial occupation by way of persecution and apartheid.

“The Palestinian people will not acquiesce to Israel’s unbridled subjugation nor relent in their legitimate fight for dignity, justice and independence,” reads part of the statement.

Palestine called on the international community, particularly international human rights bodies, to intervene.

“The prosecutor of the International Criminal Court must carry out his duties and employ all available tools to deter Israeli crimes, investigate them and hold perpetrators accountable.”
