Sungura artiste, Tatenda Pinjisi, is set to release his new album titled ‘Varidzi Vebasa’ on July 4 at Steak House in Harare.

The album has six tracks – ‘Mutoriro’, ‘Ropa’, ‘Shungu’, ‘Tariro’, ‘Gore Renzara’ and ‘Seiko’.

In an interview with The Sunday Mail Online, Pinjisi said all was set for the album launch.

“We are done in the studio and we have already confirmed the venue and the musicians who are coming to support us on the day,” he said.

Pinjisi said the album was a token of appreciation for his fans.

“Varidzi Vebasa is for our fans,” he said. “This new album is for them, not for us, we are only here to produce the music.”

The “Saina” hit-maker dismissed allegations that he retired from music to focus on evangelism.

“I never quit music, I’m just a preacher and an evangelist,” said Pinjisi.
