NEW: President commissions rehabilitated Kopa-Jopa road

Online Reporter

President Mnangagwa on Wednesday officially commissioned the rehabilitated Kopa-Jopa road in Chimanimani.

The road had been badly damaged by the devastating Cyclone Idai, which hit the area in 2019.

Permanent secretary in the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Mr Nick Mangwana, said Government is leaving no stone unturned in infrastructure development.

“President Mnangagwa officially commissioned the Kopa-Jopa road. The President also travelled on the road that was rehabilitated by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure Development,” he said.

Mr Mangwana said the rehabilitated road will improve the ease of doing business in the area.

“Government is leaving no one behind and no place behind. The Kopa-Jopa road will help drive forward the Presidential Horticulture Scheme in Chimanimani and Chipinge districts.”
