NEW: President to officially open ZITF

The 61st edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) commenced today, with President Mnangagwa expected to officially open the showcase on Thursday.

386 local exhibitors are participating, as well as international exhibitors from 11 countries.

International exhibitors have come from Malawi, Tanzania, Namibia, Botswana, Nigeria, Indonesia, South Africa, South Africa, Belarus, Kenya, Mauritius and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Writing on his twitter handle, permanent secretary in the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Nick Mangwana said President Mnangagwa will officially open the trade Fair later this week.

“President Mnangagwa will officially open the fair on Thursday and there are three exclusively business days.

“There are 396 direct exhibitors and 11 countries that are participating,” said Minister Mangwana.
