NEW: President warns greedy Zanu-PF cadres

President Mnangagwa has warned Zanu-PF leaders against using party positions to accumulate wealth at the expense of vulnerable members of the society.

In his opening remarks at the 352nd Ordinary Session of the Zanu-PF Politburo meeting on Wednesday, the President also criticised party leaders who hold on to food aid meant for the poor.

Harare, Bulawayo and Midlands provinces were applauded for adopting pro-business policies.

Government, said the President, was working on developing the country’s infrastructure, including rehabilitating the road network.

Zimbabweans were exhorted to remain vigilant amid the Covid-19 pandemic, while countries

that have donated vaccines to Zimbabwe were also thanked.
