NEW: Promoter extends helping hand to artistes

Online Reporter

LEO “Bruno” Kambanga, a music promoter who recently attracted attention after helping struggling musician Paradzai Mesi, has set up a foundation to help financially struggling artistes.

The Harare businessman recently teamed up with gospel hip-hop artiste Mudiwa Hood and donated furniture items to Mesi.

He has since set up the Bruno Foundation, which will help artistes in need of assistance.

“I wish to be remembered as a music promoter who would go out of his way to help artistes.

“Our foundation will help artistes that will be in dire need of assistance,” he said.

“In the past four years, I have been promoting and helping struggling musicians.

“It is just that the recent donation that we made to Mesi got media coverage; otherwise, we have been helping struggling artistes to feed their families.”
