A woman has brought her former worker to court, alleging that he insulted her after she spurned his love proposal.

Ms Memory Majenure made the allegations at the Harare Civil Court on Tuesday.

The 35-year-old told the court that her former worker, Cuthbert Amuli, is in the habit of insulting her.

“He insults me and says I am barren and a prostitute. He sends people to my workplace to insult and assault me.

“Right now, I am no longer living with my husband. He caused my divorce when he told my husband that we were dating,” she said.

In response, Amuli denied the allegations and said they last met in 2022.

“We last met in 2022, she is lying. I do not even know where she stays or her workplace. She insulted my wife last week, that’s when I confronted her,” he said.

Presiding magistrate Ms Meenal Narotam ordered Amuli not to insult or visit Majenure’s workplace.
