RWANDA’S Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister Dr Vincent Biruta will jet into the country on Friday to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries.

In a statement, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade spokesperson Mr Livit Mugejo said Dr Biruta’s visit is at the invitation of his counterpart, Ambassador Frederick Shava.

“The two ministers will discuss strategic bilateral issues centred around the promotion and deepening of already excellent cooperation between Zimbabwe and Rwanda,” he said.

“It is expected that the two ministers will sign some Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), which are currently being negotiated between the two sides.”

Dr Biruta is also expected to officiate at a ceremony to inaugurate the Embassy of Rwanda in Harare.
