NEW: Seed-Co ploughs back

SEED manufacturer, Seed-Co Limited has donated blankets to the Margaretha Hugo Schools for the Blind in Masvingo. 

Addressing the handover ceremony of 466 blankets on Wednesday Seed-Co Limited head of public relations and communications, Ms Marjorie Mutemererwa, said it was part of the company’s duty to empower marginalised communities. 

“As Seed-Co, it is part of our corporate social responsibility that we empower communities and organisations across Zimbabwe. 

“Our key focus is to plough back into communities and contribute to various facets of community development and the sustainability aspect of life in general,” she said. 

“Our aim is to work with organisations that are supporting persons living differently, helping them to improve their quality of life by focusing on their abilities thereby reducing inequalities.”
