Zimdancehall artiste Seh Calaz (Tawanda Mumanyi) says he is planning to end 2023 on a high with a big end-of-year gig.

The gig will be held at a yet-to-be determined venue on December 31.

According to the Mbare-born musician, the show is a way of showing gratitude to his fans.

“This will be a celebration. I am going to dedicate this show to the fans that stood with me through thick and thin.”

“We will use this show to wrap up the year, and at the same time celebrate the new year,” he said.

Last year, Seh Calaz launched a new album at the City Sports Centre on the same night that Winky D was also launching his own album at the nearby Harare International Conference Centre.

Seh Calaz’s show was poorly attended, with players in the music industry attributing the low attendance to the timing of the event.

In his defence, the Zimdancehall sensation attributed the low turnout to incessant rains that fell on the night of the launch.

A determined Seh Calaz said history will not repeat itself.

“This concert, like last year’s, is not going to be a flop.

“I am not worried about where other musicians will be performing.

“All I know is that I am going to have a successful show,” said the “Tichasangana” hit maker.
