NEW: Silent Killer yearns for gospel collabo

Online Reporter

ZIMDANCEHALL chanter Silent Killer is desperate to rope in a gospel artiste for a collaboration.

The Mbare-based singer, who was born Jim Mudereri, says he wants to do a gospel song as a way of proving that he is a Christian and not a drug addict.

“A lot of bad things have been said about me. Some people say that I am a drug addict and that I am an atheist. I am tired of listening to such damaging accusations.

“I am sure the gospel song will help clear my name once and for all,” he said.

The “Hurungwere” hit-maker is trying to woo the likes of Amai Charamba, Blessing Shumba and Baba Manyeruke to work with him on the song.

“I strongly believe that a collaboration with established gospel musicians will help send positive messages out there. I am not a drug addict but a role model and inspiration to many youths out there.”

He accused unnamed Zimdancehall artistes of spreading lies and tarnishing his image.
