A star-studded line-up is set to grace revered preacher Bishop Tudor Bismark’s 50th anniversary in ministry celebrations set for Harare International Conference Centre next month.

Popular American preacher, Bishop Thomas Dexter Jakes, well known as TD Jakes, headlines the Jubilee Conference which will run from November 8 to 10.

Bishop Jakes is the senior pastor of The Potter’s House, a global humanitarian organisation and 30 000-member church located in Dallas, Texas.

The American preacher commands the respect of people from all walks of life having advised the last three American presidents.

Also coming from America is Bishop Bismark’s friend, Ohio-based bishop, Michael Pitts.

He founded Cornerstone Church and oversees the Cornerstone Global Network of churches and leaders.

To complete the line-up of preachers at the conference is another friend of Bishop Bismark and astute Ghanaian preacher, Dr Mensa Otabil.

Capetown-based saxophonist Hiram Koopman adds an international appeal to the praise and worship.

He is a gospel music giant whose cross-cultural style in playing the saxophone has earned him global reckon.

Bishop Bismark celebrates 50 years of preaching the gospel and planting churches starting in the humble communities of Buhera, Chivhu, Concession, and Mazowe, among others.

He is one of the most sought-after preachers across the globe.

Over the decades, his profile has grown as a respected international speaker with New York City recently designating July 8 as Bishop Tudor Bismark Day in honour of his evangelism and philanthropic work.

Announcing the line-up during last Sunday’s service, Bishop Bismark, who is co-founder of New Life Covenant Church with his wife Pastor Chichi, told his congregation to brace up for a mind-blowing experience.
