NEW: Traditional healers join fight against ritual killings

Online Reporter

Traditional and faith healers recently converged in Ruwangwe, Nyanga, where they engaged local communities to try and put an end to ritual killings that are reportedly on the rise.

The gathering converged under the banner of the Zimbabwe National Practitioners Association (ZINPA).

Nyanga-based traditional healers and prophets are being accused of fuelling the scourge in the province.

Dr Hatizivi Nyamande, the ZINPA vice president, said:  “The long arm of the law will deal with those that are fuelling ritual killings. We are having some few bad apples who are tarnishing the image of traditional and faith healing.”
