MANICA DIAMONDS striker Fortune Binzi has been rewarded for his rich vein of form in front of goal after he was named as the most outstanding player in the domestic Premiership over the past three months.
The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League today announced the Player of the Month and Coach of the Month award winners, with Binzi walking away with the accolades for May, April and March.
Ngezi Platinum Stars gaffer Takesure Chiragwi was named as the top coach for May and April, while his Dynamos counterpart Herbert Maruwa scooped the award for March.
Gem Boys star Binzi has been on fire, scoring for fun for the diamond miners.
He has netted eight goals, to catapult him to the top of the goal-scoring charts.
Presently the only player to have scored a hat-trick so far in the campaign, Binzi also has two braces and a single strike to his name.
The league marathon is currently on pause after the Premier Soccer League suspended all fixtures until next month to pave way for maintenance work at National Sports Stadium.
The giant facility has been hosting most of the games after other stadiums, including Sakubva, were banned for failing to meet the required standards.
