NEW: Trust donates 3 000 mobility devices to persons with disabilities

THE Green Light International Trust (GLIT) has distributed over 3 000 mobility devices to people with disabilities.

GLIT managing director and founder Mr Tawanda Makwiramiti said the devices comprise wheelchairs, crutches and walking frames.

“We will continue making donations to medical patients,” he said. “There are various challenges that people face with disabilities, vulnerable members of our society, including old-aged and children with severe disabilities.

“Since we began our operations, we have donated over 3 000 mobility devices, which are wheelchairs, crutches and walking frames in our country.”
